Why SpecRecord exists
A permanent record for every wood floor install.
Wood floors fail — sometimes years after they're installed — and when they do, everyone points at someone else. The installer says conditions were fine. The manufacturer says they weren't. The homeowner has no proof either way. The claim gets ugly, the wrong party pays, and nobody trusts the next install.
SpecRecord fixes the paper trail. Every install captures its moisture readings, photos, materials, signatures, and jobsite conditions at the moment the job locks. The record is cryptographically sealed and its fingerprint is written to a public blockchain within hours. Years later, anyone can prove exactly what was measured, and exactly when.
The result: the honest installer wins their claim. The good manufacturer doesn't eat someone else's mistake. The homeowner has evidence that travels with the property forever.
